Andreas Kourkoulas is a Greek architect and Professor Emeritus of Architectural Design at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).

Through both his built work and academic career, he has played a significant role in shaping contemporary Greek architectural discourse.

As co-founder of Kokkinou – Kourkoulas Architects & Associates, his work is characterized by clarity of form, structural precision and a thoughtful response to landscape and context. His projects have received international recognition and have been nominated for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award.

Combining theoretical depth with architectural practice, Kourkoulas has contributed for decades to the education of new generations of architects, promoting critical thinking and a culturally grounded approach to design.
